Introducing Right Hand Support

Cochrane Alliance Church has developed a Community Peer Mentor Program that will train up volunteer Peer Mentors to support and walk beside the ‘least of these’.
The program will train and educate volunteers who would like to be the hands and feet of Christ but may feel inadequately equipped to deal with challenging people. The Mentees will be recommended from churches, agencies and organizations in Cochrane and area. Peer Mentors will be matched with Mentees, and both will be monitored, supported, and encouraged as they relate and grow together. This is an exciting opportunity to reach out, and journey with those who often feel excluded, alone, and rejected by society.
